My New Home!!!

Well I finally got to look at the apartment on Dec 14th just before signing the lease. It is awesome. The view is breath taking. The 5th floor is high enough for a really great high rise view of Downtown Dallas. The morning brings the sunrise over the city and the evenings -- the beautiful lighted buildings.

My friend Eddie helped me unload my car on the morning of the 14th.  It was nice to move out of my car after three months of being a Gypsy. 😎
I slept on the floor that night which was grueling. And on the 15th I drove to Abilene to spend a week with my other friend Eddie.  No rush on getting anything moved. Why rush now?

I had an awesome visit with Eddie in Clyde, Texas. It is always great to catch up with her. We don't talk much on the phone,  but our friendship is a precious commodity that never waivers. We usually stay up all night talking on the first night there.  ðŸ˜ƒ

Came home on Saturday before Christmas. Stopped at furniture store on the way thru Fort Worth and bought two recliners so I would have somewhere to sleep. They were able to deliver immediately. In fact the delivery truck got there as I drove up. Such FAVOR. God does take good care of me. All Glory to You Abba!

Finally contacted a mover on the 23rd of December.  Big Daddy Moving.  They were so nice and  insisted they could get me moved the next day - Christmas Eve.   My sweet son met us here at the apartment and he helped us all afternoon - stacking boxes and making sure all furniture was in the right place.  Another Praise God for His provision.

Lance and I had lots of laughs today as he stacked up all my boxes -- and there were lots of boxes.  I packed thinking I was going to get a two bedroom -- should have gotten rid of a lot more junk.  Lance gave me a pretty hard time about too much stuff.    I will definitely have to get rid of lots of stuff as I unpack.

Merry Christmas Eve - Everything out of storage.
