Art Class Updates

Today was a Van Gogh day.  These are our Starry Nights creations.  

Evening Class -- Van Gogh creations.  

Today we used painters tape and created an geometric abstract.

Zentangle that Lion

This week was My Fair Lady week at the Treemont.  

We designed collage hats today.

This week we created a tree.....  It was a fun day at the Retirement Center.

First APRIL Class ...  Design a Western Boot.  

This was my piece and example for them.  

First timer -- created a great boot. 

Berta got pretty fancy

Mike always creates an interesting picture.

Murph's first class with us.  She created a great boot.

Second April Class -- Lion King is the movie of the month.  

So I gave them a Lion to paint. They didn't finish in an hour so they took them 

home for the final touches.

March 2016 --  They were watching Les Miserables today.  I tried to find images about this movie, but they were all too "DARK" -- 

so I just chose a few images from France.  

Michael chose a image of a lady from the night.

December Art Class Update:
We water colored a Santa this week before Christmas. They did a great job.

Ruth is a new student -- but not new to Art.  

Louise is moving to Austin soon -- we will miss her. 

Barbara loves the class. 

Mike loves to paint bricks.  This chimney is the real art work! 

New year and New Focus!!!  We tried a Contemporary piece.  They love to watercolor so that's what we did. I gave them some examples of some Contemporary Images and they had a great time.

Louise, Clyde and Ruth all picked the Contemporary Fish.  

Adult coloring books are all the rage now. We chose an elephant out of the coloring book.

Ruth is a very good artist but she enjoys the Coloring Book items.

Mike made his Elephant a Genuine Red Raider.

Barbara did this with no assistance today.
