Life takes an amazing turn

I am walking into a new phase of my amazing life. I am only about three months away from being 70 years young.  2015 has already been an exciting year of new experiences.

I had my First Art Show last month. You probably didn't even know I could draw. Well it was news to me too recently. I was cleaning out some thing and ran across a sketch book.  I wondered whose it might be -- but when I opened it there was my signature at the bottom of the pictures.

I don't remember drawing back in 1987 -- but there was proof. My friend, Linda encouraged me to take up my pencil and try my hand at it again.

Sure enough I surprised myself and the rest is history.  I started to carry a sketch book around and to date have filled up about 8 or 9 of them.  Pencil drawings turned into trying new things with colored pencils and Pointillism.

What an awesome way to relax.
